This session will introduce students to resources available to understand the interplay between federal and state laws and regulations mining law attorneys consult to obtain mineral rights ownership, permits, leasing, and/or rights of access for their clients. Students will work hands-on with these resources to get a feel for navigating the complex area of mining law.
